How many marks do i need for a grade C in GCSE Maths Foundation in both papers?

Some claim it to be 80 + 80 = 160 while others claim it to be 60+ p paper, can anybody confirm the real grading criteria.

I need to know because i need a grade C in maths to get into my first choice university!

    Thanks and Regards

You will probably need at LEAST 145/200, but 150 to be safe.

Which exam board are you on? You will get different answers for different exam boards. The marks needed for each grade change every year, one year it might be 160, and the next year it could be 150.

Last year it was 141 out of 200 in scaled UMS marks to get a C on foundation maths.

In actual raw marks that are written on your papers, it was 175 out of 256 to get a C grade last year, that's in the link too. It should be around that this year, although it will probably change by a couple of marks either way deepening on how hard the paper was.
