ladies and gents, im a bit stuck on discontinuous leases.

If you have a lease for the use of, say a timeshare apartment, for 2 weeks a year for 20 years...you have a 20-year lease?

I read to be registerable, it had to be over 365 days of actual use, i.e 10 years x 2 weeks =140 actual usage days?

    Is this basically it?

Thats all i really know and my books have very little on it...pleas help a distressed lady!!

Hmm, I would have thought that the situation is really a series of separate leases rather than one discontinuous lease. In which case some of the leasaes would be commencing more than 3 months in the future, meaning they have to be registered. I'm not sure though, been awhile since I did land law
