Durham is really stuck up, they may of rejected you because you applied before october 15th (i.e. u may get an offer from Oxbridge). My mate applied to Durham after October 15th and got an offer straight away. Who knows really? Manchester is good though, got a mate there- he says there are lots of girls.

I have unconditional offers for law from SOAS and Essex
but i still wait for LSE UCL King's Durham
whats law at SOAS like, i was thinking of applying cos its high in the league tables but in the prospectus the course was all about african and oriental law. Do u mind doing that and does it exempt u from the first parts of british bar examinations like other llbs do?

I want to go to SOAS because I want a Law course with international dimension. At SOAS there is the possibility to study the laws of Asian and African countries and some international law. In addition, I can study some Arabic at SOAS!

If you end up choosing SOAS, we'll meet there.

I'm doing a gap year so they can only reject or accept me...

Personally i dont really know as yet - i am applying 2nd time so applied on ease of conditions+ it was rated no. 5 - I do think it is exactly the same as other degrees in that u get exemptions - not terribly enthusiastic about African and Oriental law but I think you only have to study one compulsory unit and the rest is British stuff

Is Law hard to get into for KCL, I've got 3A's 2B's in my highers dunno what my chances are do you?

AH stressed! Going away on Sunday for my gap year so another question how do I reply to my offers if I'm away? Can I do it online yes?

It's cos England and Scotland use different legal systems...and though there are many similarities...english law degree is more suited to law in england...also there may be issues about practising law too.
