I was thinking about buying this from ebay. basically antivirus on a USB stick.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BULLGUARD-ANTI...item43a033acbc

seeing as my netbook doesn't have a disk drive.

One question though, does that mean I have to keep the USB stick in my laptop all the time or can I just install from the USB and take it out after.

If i have to leave it in all the time it will get bloody annoying and I probs won't buy it.

No, I'm pretty sure that once you have installed the software, you can take the USB out, works just like a cd

Why not just download Avast or AVG or something?

Just install Avast Anti Virus. www.avast.com

It is free, and it is REALLY good. It has stopped quite a few viruses come onto my netbook! So it works really well, I have never had a virus with it.

Huh, why don't you just download AVG and install it? You know theres very little software you actually need a CD for these days...

This is all anyone on a home Windows computer needs. It's good and free and has real time protection.
