It's one of the great mysteries of the universe, like the great debate of the meaning of life.
Speaking like that does not make you a chav.

But what is a chav? I wear designer brands (Gucci,D&G,Armani etc etc) and I do rock out some jewels (Watch , Silver D&G diamond chain, 18ct White gold earring with 12 diamonds and some indie derkhead called me a chav once, But I can't work out why? I was only with a few mates and one was playing Grime music out on his phone when we were in the park.

I've never understood the term chav I thought it was this:

Yet I (Nor either of my mates look like this)

"What the *insert F word here* you saying to be blud, I ain't no *insert F word here* Chav, I'm gonna batter you for saying that innit".

LOL repping.

Wearing brands doesn't stop you being a chav. Armani and DKNY (I work in both places) are renowned chav stores.

How can they not know they are Chavs when they obviously are? Whenever somebody calls a Chav a Chav, they say "What the *insert F word here* you saying to be blud, I ain't no *insert F word here* Chav, I'm gonna batter you for saying that innit".

because calling someone a chav is stupid.

I have a whole bunch of these people at uni :sigh:

Chav sounds offensive to them because they think that they are gangstas. :gangster:

Why call someone a chav when 99% of people dont know what a true chav is?
Find a better insult, call him a "w word" instead

Then.. if hes a real chav, he'll run away and come back with 10 other 12 year olds all running at you whilst occasionally stopping to pull up their trousers and pick up their hats cuz they wear there hats stupidly high on their head, they are running slow cuz of there 5 stone necklaces so you may be able to outrun them though.

but if hes not a chav, he'll kick your ass.
Because it's a derogatory term used to lump an entire group together.

Back in the day (3 or 4 years ago) people called me an emo. I hated be called emo because it's derogatory. It's not because I didn't accept I was one. I just hated the term

Maybe not in your eyes, but I think the majority opinion will say that it does. People that speak like that aren't exactly into art and theatre.

Your a chav when you have no class, if you don't know what class is, your probably a chav.
If they're stupid enough to act like a **** to justify their label, they're stupid enough to not realise they have one.

Truth is not subject to majority opinion.

I wasn't even a proper emo. Too cheerful. Totally couldn't pull off the look. I realised pretty sharpish and moved on.

But serious though. My point is actually true. Ask a chav
