And Ryan, borderline diabetic, what does that actually mean/entail? Is it borderline type 2 diabetic i presume?

yes it means that i need to eat every 3 hours so my blood sugars don't drop too low. i don't take any medication but have to control it through diet. Yes it would be type 2 diabetes. i'm hoping that i won't become diagnosed diabetic but i just need to be careful. My mum is fully diabetic but only uses tablets right now.

My dad is type 1 diabetic, so I know a fair amount about it etc, it is a pain in the neck and scary sometimes, especially the type 1 version.

yes it is insulin but in tablet form - hopefully she will get away without injecting. there has been work on a way of treating diabetes by inhaling insulin which looks very promising.

thanks Tim - it's hard work keeping it in check - well not really but i have to force myself to eat lots of wholemeal foods which are usually quite bland. marmite helps liven things up a bit but i have phases of going on and off of it. Im off to sleep now and i hope to awaken to a changed durham track - we shall see :smile:

i asked him that earlier too but he didn't reply - i'm pretty sure it was due to a thread he made about him being sexy (hence the new pic :rolleyes:

). He didn't get the joy he wanted - said he was sad - so i said that could be his next thread title jokingly. Then he blasted at me - 'so could your mum!'. So not only was the thread room unspecific but he was rude to me. Perhaps if i showed the mods some of the comments made to me by some around here they would be treated the same?

yea i know - the only useless one i did make was the global climate change thingy - the omg omg omg omg omg was actually durham related but they took it away and renamed it :biggrin:

. I think giving warnings just for his thread was harsh but maybe once they saw how he spoke to me they slammed down on him? :confused:

Oh yes and the one i made about why people weren't doing anything - that got removed pretty quickly.
