At least you're a goodlooking black female newsreader:biggrin:
But none of you can beat my arctic-whaling shenanigans or my banjo festival...
LOL I googled my name and the first link was actually about me!! Well, was a page with my year's a level results on! Get in

EDIT: Sorry, the first AND SECOND links  (out of four lol)

EDIT 2: The other links are about the Orkney Youth Football Festival, and someone with my name doing well in the Orkney division of the Highland District Sea Cadets...

I can't actually find me anywhere on google!! My name turns up over 4 million entries and not a single one is me:mad:
Apparently I'm millions of Americans, thousands of Paddys (even though I put in my real name) and I'm disturbingly dead:rolleyes:
But not one is really me!
Why are so many Americans called Keenan? I swear I have never come accross someone called Keenan that wasn't in my family:confused:

I know a Keenan. In fact I know several Keenans. Though all from the same family, but still!

It's a very geordie name (because we have strong links with the Irish...apparantly!)

Really?? Everyone I meet is like 'what, Conan? Kenan? Keane?'
How can you say it's a very Geordie name if you only know one family? Or is it like one huge family:p:
I do see Keenan alot on TV credits, which amuses me. OH also my cousin is the bird lady from Home Alone (I forget if it's the 1st or 2nd, its the one in New York)
EDIT: her name's Brenda Fricker and it was Home Alone 2:biggrin:

That's the second Home Alone, duhh! (that's an awesome claim to fame!)

And although I only know of one family, I'm sure I've heard of others. Plus it just SOUNDS like a geordie name....as I say, we have strong links with the Irish, a lot of Irish names sound geordie and vice-versa. Similarly, we say things like "meself" for "myself" - same as the Irish...so a fairly similar accent. Geordie is like a cross between Irish and Scottish

Damn right!! I've never actually met her tho, well to my knowledge anyway.
I don't think I've heard the Geordie accent before, unless it's anything to do with Ant and Dec (I could be totally wrong tho lol)?
At least maybe that means that people will understand me. Sometimes I talk *really* fast and it really confuses all my friends:rolleyes: My family understand me fine tho:redface:
I knew a Keenan once, called Jennifer. She was amusing! She told me in year 7 that her mum had said she couldn't be my friend anymore because I was a bad influence
(bearing in mind she was the one who borrowed her auntie's clothes to dress up as a prostitute for the school disco)
I know some Keenans too!

Hmmm, I am disappointed that you do not know what a geordie is :frown:

You were correct in linking it with Ant and Dec, since they are from Newcastle, and people from Newcastle are geordies (commonly mispelt "jordie" ). And so yeah my accent is kinda like theirs, just a bit southernised (damnit!)

Anywho I'm sure you're not that southernised:rolleyes:

And would now be a bad time to point out technically to be a geordie you need to have been born within sight of the tyne
