Mc Donalds has most definitely shut in the town centre. There was a notice saying they shut on 31st March and the nearest store is in some shopping centre beginning with A.

I love Subway...it's much nicer than McDonalds in my opinion...and I do think I remember hearing something about McDonalds in Durham may be closing from someone who worked there...not all too sure though to be honest...

And Becca - yup! Picnic Basket is awesome It's closed over the holidays though, they mustn't get much business when the students are away!

And Chris06, just so it doesn't look like I'm ruthlessly ignoring you, I never got anything from Durham after I made them my firm choice.

just wondering, will you recieve a letter or something from Durham once you decided it was your firm choice??

If you want a take-away sandwich in Durham, the Picnic Basket opposite Elvet Riverside is the place to go, without a doubt.
