On the thread, look in the top corner. Or, alternatively, don't, and spend your time in a productive and useful manner.

Ah gotcha, lol
Did I just hear right? Did 110,000 people just win the Lottery?
Maybe, a similarly large number has come out before. When it happenned the bloke reading it sounded very confused though. "early indications show there are umm 15, 826 lucky jackpot winners"

It's some special day, I think it's the anniversary of the Lottery (why Noel Edmonds is hosting it - he hosted the very first one, I remember it, he was in the front of a big lorry at the start....sigh...I'm old!)

Anyway yeah so they were doing a massive thing whereby loads of people won - but it's not like they get £20,000,000 each...I don't think. If so, I would've played!!

I love Noel Edmonds! Crinkly Bottom!
I wanna go to the pirate night at Trevs but dunno what to wear. Being a wench is boring! It's alright for the guys...but I wouldn't feel right in a fake beard.

I too want to go, but am unsure what to wear.

I'm trying to think of something really stupid and impractical. That's where the real fun is.
Bring a plank with you, then you can use really cheesy chat up likes like 'hey, wanna go overboard with me?'

I was considering going as a cannon, which would enable me to use even more cheesy chat up lines which I won't go into.

From pure comedic possibilities :

- Cannon (as already dicussed)
- Cannon balls
- 'Wooden' legs
- Planks

Personally, I'm trying to find an inflatable parrot. (Am thinking that bringing a real one and then setting it free in Northern England would probably be a bad plan)
Go as a badly made video tape
edg.

- "Long" John Silver
- Anyone from the Captain Pugwash crew
- Black pearl necklace (too far?)
I was going to think of something from Captain Pugwash, but I just read this... :frown:

There is a persistent urban legend, originating in the now-defunct UK newspaper the Sunday Correspondent, which ascribes sexually suggestive names - such as Master Bates, Seaman Staines, and Roger the Cabin Boy - to Captain Pugwash 's characters. John Ryan successfully sued both the Sunday Correspondent and The Guardian newspapers in 1991 for printing this legend as fact. According to one version of the legend, the character was referred to as "Bates, the ship's master" to avoid making this too obvious. According to another version, "Pugwash" also had sexual connotations e.g. it could be a term for oral sex used in Australia, but no evidence to back this up has ever been found.

How would you go *as* a pearl necklace.

Actually, second thoughts, don't want to know. :-\

Pah....I don't like pirate theme!!! There isn't enough flexibility to do funny/unique things.....and you can't find suitable stuff in charity shops :frown:

Last year it was "Around the world in 80 days" - lots of variety!!! This is just going to all be pirates and all that.

So I've just ordered my pirate costume online, a bit costy, but I'm not going to find anything in charity shops like usual :frown:

The 'when I grow up' theme should be pretty diverse
