When I find the f**ker who thought it funny to microwave a rubber duck at 4am I am going to KILL them.

2 fire alarms in 3 hours.I am suffering:frown:

I also stupidly wore my slippers to go outside and they got soaked through..I grabbed my slippers but searched for my coat....hmm logical.

I was wrecked last night haha....I didn't realise it at the time but I was quite drunk...hmm.I stole some guy's hat...oops.

Oooh I also met someone off here....he came on, like,twice or something...Tiedye Dave????I met him...I was like 'OH MY GOD YOU GO ON THE STUDENT ROOM!' haha...what a loser.

We went into Brown Sugar today...the service absolutely sucks.In fact,we didn't get served!We had to go for our meeting with out floor rep...so...I think that says it all.Comfy sofas though.

Widowmaker-lol kind of jinxed yourself there...fire alarm went off about 3 minutes after you posted that!You're on J5 aren't you?Is that Ed with the multi-coloured spotted duvet cover?He knocked on my door on the first day...keep saying hi to him but not much else....oh,I was shaking his hand for about 5 minutes the other night when I was drunk though haha.

Anyhoo I do think it's time for our daily tea party in the pantry!Byeeeeeeee!

Erm,I'm kind of short,dark hair,really green eyes....lol.

Well I've got a cold, which is why I'm not repping tonight - I was meant to be doing the acoustic music in the bar. I don't think it's the dreaded flu though, I'm pretty sure I know the bugger I caught this off. He's currently hiding from me! :p:

hey folks :biggrin: sidekick is back. im sure you didnt even notice i was gone, but i was. yep, for over a month now, whilst moving house. but now im back and at this very moment sitting in my tiny little room at john's :smile:

i have a question but didnt want to start a whole new thread just for my stupidity. so tell me peoples, how in the WORLD do you find out your durham email address? i have seen the thingy in the book about how it should just be your first name.last name @ durham.ac.uk etc but doesnt work for me (i have an apostrophe in my surname, phaps causing trouble? but have tried it many diff ways) and i cant get to my emaaaaaaaail. basically i just want to get onto facebook properly but still, any help from you geniuses would be hugely appreciated :biggrin::biggrin:

and type in your last name....it should show you your email address on the list of results! :smile:

Can you log on to your webmail? If so try emailing your hotmail account or something with it. Alternatively look yourself up in www.dur.ac.uk/directory

Hey, thanks for that guys :biggrin: My personal tutor person told me my email address last night too, and it's the same as on the directory but yeah, just wont let me use it to get into me email account thingy on webmail. says its not recognised as a valid email or something. pah.
have emailed maintenance team so i expect to hear something by next term... :p:
