I really like Lord of the Flies. I had to read it for GCSE, and actually enjoyed it. I enjoy about 0.6 books per year, so there must be something good about it.

Wooooo! Same here...I hated English, and reading anything was awful. But we got that to read and I started reading it but then couldn't put it down, was really really good....probably the only book I've ever read and not been able to put down (not including when I'm on holiday/got nothing better to do/on lunch breaks at work on night shift wanting to avoid talking to the others who work there by reading a book)

I did not enjoy lord of the flies at all. William Golding did however write it while he was a teacher at my school, based many of the characters on the boys at the school, and even got the boys to proof read it in their lessons!
There's going to be an evil Bichon on "it's me or the dog" next week. Did anyone watch it last night with that big stupid dalmation?
My bichon is lovely and friendly, although he does get a little bit jealous if I'm having a cuddle with my mum - he has to be in the cuddle too so he jumps all over you!

Aw, they're little yappy things though, I do prefer bigger woofy dogs
