This morning, felt rubbish. Used my manflu as an excuse not to go to squash practice. Decided it was time to meet that playwriting deadline, since I hadn't done the work the previous day as intended. Sat down with playwriting notes (in bed due to manflu). Wrote a letter to my friend instead. Sniffled. Felt sorry for myself. Put some Panadol in a glass of water. Tasted disgusting. Had a hot chocolate to comfort self. Read through some play research briefly. Realised it was lunchtime. Got dressed. Went to lunch. Came back from lunch determined to do some work. Posted hundreds of photos on Facebook and wrote captions for most of them. Ordered shoes. Printed out some piano music for some guy's art project that I'm playing in. Put the piano music to one side. Decided I was too ill for taekwon-do, plus I haven't done that work yet. Went on TSR. Wrote this message.
Another winning day for Jelkin, then. Tonight I'm going to see "This is our Youth" at The Assembly Rooms, then perhaps trekking up to Grey unless it's too cold (which it will be). Highest likelihood: coming back here to work, spending evening on Facebook and going to bed very late.
