What the absolute ****!?

ha ha ha! It's a "debate" we were having over at the H&R forum.

"Would you ever leave a turd in someone's toilet for a joke?"

OMFGROFLOL.

That is hilarious.

And your posts always keep me on my toes. I'd rep you but I haven't love-shared enough.

And Kathryn, I reckon Dr James reads minds. So he probably knows you're thinking about his boxers and wouldn't be at all surprised if you asked. What is your dissertation on?

Dr James does know everything, but I don't think he reads minds. He'd know we all want to marry him if he was able to do that, and he'd probably look a bit more scared everytime he walks into a room full of undergrads wanting his bearded little babies.

Oh, and my dissertation is on Mr Men books.

Lol, I wish. Actually, I might change it to that. Analyse the structure of Little Miss Selfish or something. It's on Jane Austen really.

 OH MY GOD! That would be amazing. Bearded babies. You'd make a mint, AND have a laugh.

That would be freakin' hard! I am actually more excited about the prospect of Austen. Are you writing about all of 'em? And what about them? (I apologise to those here who don't care, but I am in love with Jane Austen as well as Dr James).
Wow.. thats kinda depressing that you aren't doing Hargreaves' classic works:frown:
Mr Men > Jane Austen
Itchynscratchy
Mr Men > Jane Austen

I disagree. But Mr Men > Robinson Crusoe, for sure.

Bearded babies.

You must have seen that episode of Father Ted. "I think *you're* the hairy baby maker!"

Jelkin

Well, only Pride and Prejudice and Northanger Abbey in detail, though I'll obviously mention the rest. The title isn't quite what I wanted cos my supervisor thought it was too sociological, but I'm going to be talking about style and romance, hopefully with some focus on film adaptations...

What about "Would you ever leave a turd in someone's shower for a joke?"

Because someone here actually did that.

ha ha ha! That's quality!

They should have put it on ratemypoo.com

Who was this legend?

They were not a legend. The poo was left there for 4 days, and my room is right outside the showers and it stank.
It is still a mystery who did it.

Maybe they were lazy? ...or drunk? ...or both?

Anyways, how are you today? No lectures?

I have given up lectures. I'm waiting for an email in the library, I just found out I have an interview for a summer internship in London, but it's going to be difficult to get to so I'm waiting for the HR woman to get back to me about some issues. I'm scared. :s:

I think the phantom pooer was drunk.....at least it was solid turd and not splattered all over the place.

How are you?

Wow good luck!!! When is the interview?

I had an interview on Wednesday for a Newcastle Law Firm summer bursery. We haven't heard the results yet :s-smilie: So I totally feel your pain. But look at it this way, what have you got to loose? Go for it! ^_^

Which library are you in? I'm at home. Fridays are my day off  But when I have time to kill in Durham, I usually p!ss around in the Palace Green library.

This week I have been getting a little bit stressed about work, so this morning I had the bright idea of taking the rest of the day off to 'de-stress'. The only problem is, I feel bad about myself because by sitting here and procrastinating on the internet I am getting further and further behind with my work :frown:. So I would appreciate it if someone would tell me I'm doing the right thing. It will help me to justify the time wasting to myself .

ps. I've just seen your letter in NGamer, Peach! You're famous!

Oh, the library in France. I am in France, which makes the whole travelling to the interview thing a wee bit problematic. See, I wasn't exactly expecting to get one!!
There's loads of interview dates and I have to choose, which just makes the whole thing even more confusing! And I'm hungry but I have to sit here and wait for this email - internet access in Limoges is fairly limited!! I am definitely going to go, just need to sort stuff out! And to prepare massively! :afraid:

Maybe don't sit there doing nothing, how about planning a structure/timetable for all your work then when it's time to work you can just get in there and do it?

I have already planned, structured and timetabled my life 20 times over. I'm all out of legitimate procrastination techniques I'm afraid. All that remains is to actually do my essays, and I don't want to :frown:.

Oh dear. I Sooooo understand the procrastinating business. I'm doing it myself right now :frown:

***GROUP HUG***

I have a horrid essay to write on the European Parlament (an issue which bores the knickers off me) and I feel no inclination to make a start or even open a book. Perhaps we should at least open a word document and type the title? :p:

And YAY! Greener liked my Birthday prezzies! (I made that DS Lite case by the way  )

Oh, and GOOD LUCK BECCA!

When are you coming back to Blighty?
