What's it like studying abroad? Is it bizarre? I have lived such a sheltered life :redface:


For me its a tough challenge. I'm here in Salamanca, until June and I have to do the exams here and take the same number of modules as the Spanish students(unlike a friend of mine in Alcala de Henares, who is a linguist who doesn't have to do anything-but then she is only there until December and then off to Clermont Ferrand in France for six months) but the challenge is broken up by the fact that my Spanish has improved so much (so much that people in shops are commenting on it! Obviously they can tell I'm foreign but they seem impressed:smile: ) and also that I've made so many friends here.

:biggrin: So if anyone gets the chance to study abroad I'd grab it as fast as you can but, just a word of warning about Spain-do not get stressed too much, they don't so why should you?:smile:

I think I've repped all of you too recently to rep whore, but if anyone fancies being kind then you will have my undying gratitude. I don't know why I like rep so much. I think it makes me feel as though I have some worth as a human being. O Internet, how I loathe thee.
