I agree.

Each year I usually go to the pub with my close friends, or to a house party or something.

This year a few wanted to go to a club in town - yeah right I'm not paying those prices to go to a club which is going to be RAMMED!

So sitting here on TSR watching crap New Year Eve TV....sigh :frown:

Though at least I'm out to a trance club tomorrow...should cheer me up!
Haha, I paid those expensive prices just to almost spell this whole thing correctly.
Woo, first time I've been out proper on NYE, and it was awesome! Club cost £1 and I danced away.
Then I came in and watched American Football on Channel 5 with my dad! Haha.

Happy New Year folks.

Resolutions?

To be able to fit in the ball dress I got when I was 17 in time for the Summer Ball - my mum got it fixed when I was away last term and now I need to go on a diet :frown:

DSU people are not all recluses! True, some people are a bit...uh...weird. But I'm in the DSU and......um...bad example. A lot of normal people are involved, that's all I'm saying.

Eeeekers! Diets for the loss!

Studying and dieting don't go together imo. Poor Jelkin
I have 10 resolutions.Which I am keeping so far.

Giving up chocolate/flapjack,lose weight, decide what I want to do after uni, seize the day, get fitter...etc etc!

I want to be able to fit into my size 8 Diesel jeans again because they are nice.

5 foot 2....so yeah,it's my frame.

Sadly, last Christmas there was too much chocolate around and I gained loads of weight(well, just over a stone...),I lost half a stone of that when I was in America this September...then proceeded to gain most of that back in the first term of uni!

Grrr.

So yes,I want to get skinny again!Sob,this is going to take hard work.

I've done well for the first day of 2007.Just got to keep it up.I'm going to America on Thursday so hmm, trying to keep it up is going to be interesting,my friend has been telling me about all these really cool ice cream shops and things....grrrrrr.

I had a house party too!It was very civilised and no one was drunk which was strange.Lol.

Sadly,it wasn't sexual though.
I was at a house party too. We played ring of fire and 21s then we went into the one club in town at about 10.30pm so we could stake out our position on the dance floor and didn't have to queue!
6+6=6

Yeah, I was my skinniest at the beginning of year 12 (when I bought my ball dress) and have slowly but consistently inflated between then and now. That's 3 years. Ouch. People are always really negative about diets, either because they're like, "you don't need to diet!" or "I hate girls who diet", but they don't get that if I actually ate everything I wanted to I would probably not be able to walk.

I love food.
Ditto. I'm eating if I'm actually hungry, rather than just because it's a mealtime. So it's not a diet as such,it's just being a bit more sensible! There's no point depriving yourself,it just causes a negative relationship with food. Food is there to be enjoyed, in moderation!

I hate looking back and seeing clothes I used to fit into and things...grrr...the most annoying thing is I used to always be like 'God I'm so fat!'

Oh,it's so depressing.

I gave up chocolate for New Year.Lol.

*actually keeping it up so far despite the huge box of Lindor in the cupboard*

I don't believe I have ever procrastinated as much as this....I was meant to start packing at 11.30 this morning.Still haven't started.

Oops.
