Studio isn't bad. I still haven't been to Klute or Loveshack yet. :frown:
I will do soon.
Anyone who doesn't like studio is not cool!

And I appreciate the love of the world... but clinically insane is a bit unfair. I think I might be slightly unbalanced, but only in an Ally Mcbeal, she's a bit zany but she doesn't have a knife in her pocket, kinda way.

I do wish I was Ally Mcbeal. Just once, though.

Ally Mcbeal probably did have a knife. She probably used it to cut her nails on her desk when the cameras were away.

Studio is fun. I think Klute is overpriced and disappointing. I like Loveshack a lot.

EDIT: I saw you today, Robbie - I was waiting for a poetry lecture in CG93 (WHY?) and you walked past with a slightly wistful expression on your face. Perhaps you were deliberately avoiding my gaze.

When I read that I imagined a lecturer who talks in rhyme

He doesn't do that, but sometimes he illustrates poetry on the blackboard. It's brilliant.

That wasn't Gareth Reeves was it?
I wasn't avoiding gaze... I think I was being bundled out with the zillion other physics students... I was trying to look disapprovingly in the general vicinity... because people in my way pisses me off. But if I break them, I have to buy them... apparently.

*impressed* Yes! He's so cool.

OMFG, today I had Dr James for my 9am, which meant that, despite my 4 hours' sleep last night, I was enthralled. At one point, he looked in the back of someone's copy of Bleak House to check something, and he stood NEXT TO ME! Haaaaaalelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah

I'm so doing Victorian Literature next year. If he is not one of my tutors, I may complain. I have talked to others about my little infatuation and they all seem to prefer Prof O'Neill - he's meant to be on sabbatical for a year but he covered a lecture the other day and everyone cheered when he walked in

Robbie - I hate people being in my way, too. The worst people ever are slow walkers, because they're always totally ignorant of you even when you sigh loudly and make a show of trying to get around them because they're taking up all the rooom. Gah. You should definitely change your philosophy to, "If you buy them, you have to break them". But not me.
Hey all. Im in the library, OMFG.

How was your show Jess? I couldnt listen, been science site all day, on my ****ing day off. Ugh... everyone here is ugly ****!
Oops,I've only been to the library once this term:frown:Naughty Danni.

I'm skipping my first lecture today too.5.15.I hate the time of day it's at,even if it is my favourite module. And the lecturer effectively said we don't have to go if we don't want to...she puts detailed notes on DUO so it seems pointless.

Hehe, I knew that cos they all do the same lectures every year. I asked my college daughters last year and he drew the same thing.

Dr James is the awesomest. Do Victorian but absolutely, ABSOLUTELY do Fin-de-Siecle. Two hours once a fortnight of sheer Jamesian goodness. I got sympathy from him for being so ill on Tuesday!

Did anyone else see University Challenge last night? Durham got 260, Somerville College, Oxford got 135. GO DURHAM!!!

I realise it is only a small victory, as this was one Oxford college, but still...

Yep I saw that!

Me and my friends keep pretending we are on University Challenge...or rather, when we address each other we go like...'Collingwood Smith(in the man's voice)....what do you think?'

They should use the Durham college names on University Challenge, they sound better.

The other one is a third year Mildert person.

Because no teaching is done in the college, so in theory every college should be the same academically
