I am very naughty:frown:

I am naughty too - I have a history seminar this afternoon about immigration and am meant to be learning about France for it. But I'm on here instead.
I have a tutorial this afternoon on Twelfth Night and As You Like It. Haven't read Twelfth Night since I was 14 and I have never read AYLI, though I have seen umpteen productions. I am naughty too. It's all fiiiine. I can't believe how busy I am this week - 10 hours' contact time, manic!

Thanks for the rep btw people. I like my shiney.
Ditto,I have 11 whole hours this week.Missing 2 of them today,I just can't cope with so much contact time:frown:

I have a seminar at 3.15,I am going to go,I shall be good.

I did also just spend an hour reading and note-taking.So I am not THAT naughty.

I realised that one of the 2 books I got out of the library talks about European immigration and integration as a whole, and that I'd actually have to sort through what is relevant to French for my seminar. So instead I'm just not reading it. Got 20 mins, oops. Shouldn't be on here. I also printed off an article about it but the print is small and I can't be bothered to concentrate. Ha ha.

Nice shiny! I want another one but it'll be a long time coming. I will try to rep more people so I can rep you again.

I was naughty today also, but in a bizarre way.

Apparantly, it is not allowed to hand your geography essays in "too early"!!! - I have one due tomorrow and one due next Friday, took them both down (no I'm not usually that good, but I have a dissertation due in in 3weeks 1day)...she took my essay for tomorrow and was like "Erm, you'll have to hold onto the other one, it's too early to hand in right now"

I'm so annoyed because a great weight will be off my shoulders knowing that my essay is inside that office out of harms way!! :frown:

Now, dissertation.....and just been told I have 2 seminars next week which I need to prepare for. Seriously, the next few weeks are going to test me :frown:

I found out today that the course I want to do next term has EVEN MORE maths in than the one this term, which I didn't think would be possible outside the maths department. Poo.

Sounds very similar to something I was told today about a previous module I'd taken last term because I thought 'International Relations' would have a political focus.

The lecturer told me that he'd said it would be more of a Law based module in the first lesson apparently, yes unfortunately I didn't go to the first lesson mainly because in the first two weeks or so if you're an international student in a foreign country you don't really know where to go/and do let alone know the times of your classes.
I am very naughty. I've been to 3 lectures this term, and yes, that is bad.

Though in my defence I have been incredibly ill this last week.

Still, my degree is ****ing over :frown:

Everyone seems to be ill at the moment, a friend of mine got this really bad cough yesterday and today me and another friend have come down with it!! :frown:
Everyone seems to be ill...hmm....mumps is going around Collingwood too and I haven't been vaccinated:s-smilie:

I hope you get better soon Robbie!

How is everyone today? ^_^
Reply 5452
Er, mightn't it be a good idea to go get vaccinated? I believe it should be free.

Guess what?

I have more posts on TSR than there are in this thread (the Durham General Chat Thread).

This means that I have more than 273 pages worth of posts.

How sad?
It's more sad that you actually bothered to work that out. :p:

Yeah, mumps vaccinations are free. I got mine before I came to uni. I also remember getting a flu vaccine in first year!

Yes I got mine before first year too mainly because obviously my surgery had a switched on practice nurse who thought "there will in the next few years be mumps outbreaks in Universities!".

I remember getting a letter from Durham after results day advising me to go and get one.
I didn't have one. I got mumps. It hurt.
The moral of the story is: Get a mumps vaccination kids!
I had MMR injection when I was like 6 or something; does that last forever?
