I keep staying in to do work as I have so much :frown:

Then I come on here and end up doing nothing.

*sigh*

I know that cycle oh so well. Ah, self pity is my friend.

Having done my presentation two weeks ago, I now have one extended piece of work left to do in my entire degree . Sadly it is a project which will no doubt consume my life :frown:

Urban Transformations in New Europe - they have one 2hr lecture every fortnight and go to Berlin in the Easter holidays, then have to do a writeup before the exams.

I wish I'd done it now! :frown:

PS. Dissertation alert level is back on green! Although about 2 pages behind schedule, I have tomorrow to catch up. Yay
Hi everyone. Just been to Ustinov bar for about 6 hours lol. Ordering takeaway food and darts. It's the life.

Ustinov bar scared me, the couches were too low, no ale and old people.

Fisher House is quite cosy, but you're right, it does have old people in. Meh, its a nice change to Butler Bar at times.

But it's a calm and relaxing environment and at least you can hear what the other person is saying.

I really liked Ustinov bar.

I have no idea what modules I'm doing next year because when I walked up to Hallgarth in the rain to collect a module booklet, as I'd been told to in the email they'd sent me, all I found was a sign saying that they were available from ER69. So I walked back down to Elvert Riverside, in the rain, feeling a little annoyed, and when I got to ER69 there was a sign up saying, "office closed today. Please contact staff at Hallgarth house."

That sounds very much like a Spanish attitude there from the English department. Be worried, very worried! If it continues you won't be able to get anything done for at least a month, but inbetween that you'll have at least two long weekends off for fiestas.

I definitely have a love/hate relationship with Spain hehe.

I think I'm going to be the same with Italy! How long have you got left now?

It's fine, calm.... I'll tell you what modules to do, you don't need a booklet :p:

I worked out today that I've been here for five months now and so only have four months left, which is a relief and a bit sad too.... as I am starting to get settled here!
