Yeah, so?

I am conclusively planning on going down the pub.

On the election related news, wouldn't that make TKR,Durhamdosser,6+6=6 and Chrish2107 all on their college execs? We're so commited.

Same here for Buttery Chair....oh how sweet the days will be when I no longer have to get up early to collect the milk or fruit deliveries, when I no longer have to cash up the till, no longer have to stock, mop, clean, tidy, etc etc etc.!! :biggrin:

Though...the days when I also no longer have a key for the shop, no longer have any responsibility in college, and no longer are able to have fun in my little Buttery world will be gone :frown:

PS. Fun dissertation update: 10,722 words, 35 pages, first draft done. Now the editing (i.e. rewriting the whole bloody thing!) begins :rolleyes:

I'd like to know why you would be awake at 6.30am... And when I saw you last night, was that some hardcore canvassing going down? You seemed to be enjoying it a little more than you'd have us believe!!

Would you believe out on our musical social, I was dancing like an absolute demon in Jimmy As. Next thing I knew I was doing a spin, lost my footing due to a puddle of broken glass. Hit the deck, landing on my back, and twisted my ankle so badly I had to hobble home. Someone really doesn't like me very much *looks up*. Maybe I shouldn't have shunned my chance to be rescued!!

Oh no! Shame about the falling. I'd finished canvassing by the time you saw me - you're not allowed to canvass in the bar anyway!

Over 10,000 words doesn't mean it's finished....

- It has absolutely NO references in it (no joke, it has none!)
- I haven't done any of the appendix (i.e. maps, photos, debate transcript)
- I haven't done the literature review for it
- It doesn't follow through - i.e. the aims are different to the conclusion
- I repeat myself a billion times

And so, the real work is just beginning!!!

Alex - it is fun! Being able to order the food you like, get anything whenever you like, and just generally being in charge of a shop is fun at times :smile:

Finally had my ingrowing toenail operation today! I'm so happy. I've had this wretched problem since August. I can play sport again. Yay! :biggrin:

Is smoking banned in college buildings ? if not are people allowed to smoke in their rooms ?

(i dont smoke i was just wondering thats all )

Hahah!!!

1. No smoking in rooms - smoke detectors will detect it, set off the fire alarm and automatically call out THREE fire engines, costing the college £300

2. No smoking in college at all - same reason as above

3. New smoking policy just came in, no smoking in any college buildings AND no smoking at any entrance or exit!

4. Smoking policy also states that no college may sell cigarettes or tobacco products (so no vending machines and no shops can sell them)

Although some people say it's too far...I like it, because I HATE smoking :biggrin:
