I went in the library twice during the exams. Scared the hell out of me. Even the most secret spots were crammed with people!
Same here. Also, people were crying in mine
Thank you for the accommodation advice babe Much appreciated. I went into the DSU Accommodation Office today but the bastard was closed! (Contrary to the details on their website). Apparently they reopen tomorrow.
I spoke to the women-person at Cuths and she said that with my finances I have a good chance of finding the accommodation I'm looking for (i.e. private/non-shared)

Excellent Hope the DSU are more useful in finding you a nice place! They're generally good in making sure the landlord isn't dodgy and any complaints can go through their channels too. And you can get them to check your contract for you too.
I hope Durham isn't too much of a ghost town when I go back next week it always creeped me out a bit during the holidays!

Hey paddy, life good? My superspecialawesome studying area is on the 1st floor, in the Middle-Eastern studies section,right at the back, noone is ever there. Edit: To the extent that I've seen someone in there with speakers set up,eating sandwiches and playing music.
'tis rather good, I get to quit my summer job on wednesday finally (it is in a bank, that is all you need know). Being employed is highly overrated. How was the US of A?
Tufts
Paddy your name rings a HUGE mo fo foghorn bell!
Because I'm awesome clearly. Also I used to frequent the Durham sub forum ghetto back in the day (the day being before they rejected me twice, it still hurts). So y'all ready for the midget invasion? I bet you'll all be feeling a little fresher every day ;yes;
I've been away for a few weeks, but I'm back now with a 2000 word summative esaay to write, in Italian before the start of term. Oh and I'm going to a management course at Trevs on the 26th, and I'm well scared! They've sent me loads of preparation materials.
Is everyone looking forward to the start of term? I am, but it's going to be weird being back in college without all my usual friends. And I'm going to be a miserable grumpy 4th year.

Ooo, some of my friends are going on that course too, I didn't know it started so early, yay. I'll say hi if I recognise you
