1. Everyone knows paedophiles dress up as schools to lure children, therefore this guy must be a school.
2. I have targeted many people by checking if they've passed their exams or not, including but not limited to my friends.
3.I'm not so much disturbed about the looking up of results, but more the fact that he's someones dad, I'd hate to be his kid.

Can we give this whole thing some sort of poorly-punned name, like Apapalypse 2007?

 Thank you for giving me a chuckle. I'll think of that puntastic name whenever this issue arrises.

This is the only thing that I find weird about the whole issue.

One of the greatest things to ever have been broadcast on television! Ah the controversy...

There's no evidence but it is pure scientific fact.

 Apapalypse 2007.

Yeah and that he's been talking on here so much since, to the point he is now a regular.

I take it the daughter doesn't go on TSR much(or at all)? And would you want to if you knew all this conversation with you dad was going on(even if it is low level and not accusations).
So isn't it sad that someone can't really join in their local TSR general chat thread.*

Well, YOU are! What a come-back! :clap2: Brilliant. We were all veeeery worried

It's as if he and his whole family have been huddled around the computer screen monitoring Tufts' activities as if her life is some sort of soap opera....

There's also something strangely malevolent about the "veeeery" and the clapping smiley :p:.
I guess with the Blues down the pan, most things look pretty bleak at the moment.

Actually that does look horrible doesn’t it. Groan. Moral of story: NEVER post after a few glasses of wine; ALWAYS pause for five minutes before clicking submit. You can’t get them back once they’re gone. [Anyway, I still think it was a great show. She failed three modules in June – that’s half the course; it really stood out on the pass list –, then a couple of months later pulled the whole lot back. Quite inspirational.]

On a lighter note, I am told they are going to set up a special parents’ forum. Can’t wait. No students allowed, of course. Don’t forget to tell all your mums and dads!

, I'm going to ignore the irrelevance of that statement.

As for the parents only zone, I'd imagine it will be a fairly quiet sub-forum (if it ever really happens).

You have no idea the crap I was going through in my life back then. And what is it any of your business? Surely it is up to me what I wish to post publically about myself, and not some strange man? Also, who is this "we" you referred to back in your :clap2: post.

Did you write to Rory Cochrane and tell him you did it, along with a load of stuff that is supposed to be out of the public domain.

But anything posted on TSR is in the public domain. So are pass lists. You may find it creepy, but he hasn't really done anything wrong. But if Tufts doesn't like it he should apologise. And I would definately be concerned if it was my dad :s-smilie:

Papa, does your daughter post here?
I think people need to get beyond what is "technically" right or wrong. True, this guy hasn't technically done anything wrong, but I defy anyone to say that his behavior is not in the least bit concerning....

He may be loving the attention the more we discuss it

1 transcript - this is the important thing really, and yes, it has the name of every module you've taken (split into year by year) and the PERCENTAGE you got for that module (so not even just "2:1" "2:2" or whatever, full on "Module 1 = 55%, Module 2 = 68%, etc"

Oh crap that is not good!

Do employers ask to see that or are they happy with the grade does anyone know?

Well, employers would probably only ask for that sort of stuff after they've offered you the job/decided you're right for it. They'll probably want A level and GCSE certificates too. Most employers know that first year of uni doesn't mean much, I doubt they'll retract a job offer because you underperformed in some first year modules. It's not much to get worried about, unless you've lied about first year marks to gain an internship, which then allows you to get a graduate job...

Its not first year I'm worried about
Oh ok, still though, I wouldn't worry about individual module marks, as long as you get the right overall grade you'll get a job !
