Iceland isn't really that much cheaper than Waitrose, I've found, unless you get the really horrible tat- they lure you in with their tackiness then charge as much as the nice supermarket!

I've walked past Bobby Robson's house in Neville's Cross, or at least the one that my boyfriend thinks he lives in!!

It depends, Iceland is cheaper for some things (especially branded goods like Birdseye frozen peas, 8 kiwis for a pound, big box of mushrooms for a pound...), but your choice in there is pretty limited. Milk is super cheap too.

If everyone boycotted waitrose then we would end up with a decent supermarket that charged fair prices...

Thing is, I wouldn't mind paying a little bit extra if they actually provided a decent quality of service. The ****ing lazy, unhelpful, miserable, rude staff they employ have been pissing me off for a while, yesterday was the final straw. I've ****ing had it with the place, I'm not giving those ***** any more of my money

The staff in my Waitrose at home are very helpful and well-spoken. It must depend on the particular store.
