It uses the mobile phone networks, so its like dial up pretty much. Though its well better than nothing, did they charge for it? (the technology has been around for the last 10 years btw :p: )

It's free on National Express trains, GNER ones charge unless you're in First Class if I'm remembering correctly.

If its unsecured then i reckon next time I end up on one of their trains then I might "borrow" the connection. Though given how cheap it is for them to offer the connection, i don't see why they charge for it.

Yeah it was free. And having been around for 10 years doesn't make it any less futuristic, by gum.
