That, and my parents finally decide to make contact with me (they left at 7am on Monday morning) by sending me a text at 3am which said 'here but three'. Informative. Usually I get absolutely no signal in my room, so I don't bother putting it on silent, but just this once... ergh.

My dog just waits until someone gets up to be let out. If we come down too late he just leaves a little surprise on the kitchen floor

Yup, monks! How exciting! I'm trying to avoid any 'presents' from the dogs. I can't find the hamster food anywhere though, and if it dies my little sister will never forgive me .

Just give the hamster an apple or something?

No, my body won't let me get up before 7. Well, it will, but I'm super tired and ratty all day if I do, and that's never a good state of mind to be in when I'm trying to separate who thought what in Reformation theology.

I would be doing society a favour if it died, I really would. It's mental. The food must be somewhere in her bedroom, possibly in her safe (she's a very odd 7-year-old). I might give it some cornflakes or something .

Is there not a pet shop near by, hamster food keeps nearly forever, so it would not do much harm to get fresh supplies in.

I'm home alone in the middle of nowhere, so unless the pub or the church sells it, I'm stumped .

Lol, how come you live so far away from anywhere? Do you not have a farm shop or something nearby?

My parents are sadists. The nearest shop is a good half an hour's walk, and is only open from 9am to 11am, and does not sell hamster food from past experience. I might have to resort to the world's slowest bus service.
