You could try the art shops: there's one on North Road and one on Saddler Street next to Moatside. :smile:

Cathedral shop might be worth a look. I think I spotted some cross stitch sets when I was in there the other day, so they might have tapestry.

rain is not fun when you have a practical which involves wandering around Durham looking at buildings.

hmm... I'm currently avoiding work by choosing modules for next year.

Problem comes if I manage to avoid work too much and fail all my modules... :s-smilie:

How the hell does one revise for Classical Mechanics and Particle Physics? I haven't been to many lectures of either (as they were dogpoo), but I would like to pass. Any chances anyone has some notes I can have, or some advice on good books, or wiki bits?! I'd appreciate it muchly!!

Particle was pretty hard to revise for I seem to remember, they don't go into much detail about anything. The questions are almost pot luck.

Class Mech was a frigging nightmare, the lectures are terribly dull and the notes are terrible. My advice is do all the past paper questions with the notes in front of you and see if you can do it that way. I never really used anything else, but then I mostly sacked off class mech in the exam.
