A chap with a terrible laugh
Makes one feel like a sacrificed calf
He sits at the front
Whilst you secretly want
To put him in a fiery hearth.

That doesn't rhyme.

shush. It's a half rhyme. It works well enough when said in my accent

There was someone who posted on another internet forum I used to go on who wrote all his posts in Haiku. All 35000 of them (no joke)

Where is the lack of rhyming?

laugh and calf are the same, and they sound very similar to hearth
front and want sound very similar.

laugh (laff) sounds nothing like calf (carf)
