    An arms race between the West and a country that, er, actually has an economy?

    Delightful.

    The American's should of known this would happen... they told the guy who built the USS George Washington he was one in a million but all that meanis is there's roughly 1300 of him in China.
    I'm not Chinese, but:
    China = LOLage
    USA = Fail

    New Chinese Dong Feng 21D missile will be ready within 10 years, it will apparently be able to sink even the USA's most advanced and currently near-invincible supercarrier; the USS George Washington. This will effectively neuter the USA's ability to project its power freely across the world, it will no longer be the only military superpower.
    Force it's power more like...

    How is this any different to Russia firing a nuclear missile at an aircraft carrier tomorrow morning?

    I agree air carriers are ending their shelf life - perhaps these ones will be the last generation. Then we move onto space planes to project power long distances.

    Why does everyone think China want to take down the US? Would they not be happy with their own side of the world? World domination is just too much trouble...

    Well. they'd possibly want to take back Taiwan someday, or support N. Korea militaristically; both of which would probably warrant US intervention.

    Doubt the N. Korea one, Taiwan probably - but technically it would be the US instigating war against China because of this?

    When are you going to stage a coup and get that no-hoper Cameron out, Maggie?
