Those darn pelvic pains again.

Went to the doctors again today about those pelvic pains that I've been having for almost three months, and he doesn't think it's anything to do with the Pill (as I've been on Cerazette since August and they've still not stopped).

So...

I'm on medication for irritable bowels. He said that sometimes, the bowels clench and they cause sharp, sudden pelvic pain; much like I was experiencing. I'm not sure if he meant it was IBS. Might have done. Maybe I have to have tests for that to be confirmed.

If the tablets don't work, I have to come back in a month's time and he'll arrange for an internal examination with a female doctor "if I prefer". Just to check that my womb and my ovaries are fine.

So...yeah. Cue my nan going on about how some woman didn't get herself checked out until she wanted children, but couldn't because her tubes were "shot to pieces". I'm just like "thanks, Nan".

What's the internal examination like?

Cheers.

I don't know who'd be doing it - he said I could have a female doctor if I'd prefer (and I would). I'd rather a female doctor that I have a problem with than a nice male doctor poking about, to be honest.

I'm a bit worried about it all! Sometimes I adopt this idea that if I don't have to worry about it right now, I won't. But naturally, you hear "ovaries" and "something wrong" etc. and you start thinking "well what if it's not my bowels?"
