Hi, I´m italian and I know nothing about GCSE. I´m a graduate Engineer (Telecomunications) and I would like to apply for a job in UK. Is it required for a job?
Any link to an overview of GCSE would be useful (as any personal comments).
Thanks
Juan

Well an employer will want to look at all your qualifications including SE level. If you're a graduate then presumably you'll have the Italian equivalent of Secondary Ed. qualifications?

GCSEs are the minimum qualifications you can really have. You learn them from the age of 11 till 16. I honestly dont think they are looked at a great deal. Your degree will be the most important thing.

If you're a non-native worker then the particular company that you work for will recognise that you have the Italian equivalent of GCSE's. I think that a few European treaties cover this and make sure that British companies recognise Italian qualifications.

It shouldn't really matter at all
