Psychology Reading List

Hey,
Has anyone actually bought the Neil Carlson,Martin and Buskitt Psychology textbook that the letter asked us to read? I tried getting mine in my branch of waterstones and the publishers haven't sent it to them and its been nearly 3 weeks. So i thought i'd try Borders and they'd never even heard of the 2005 edition. They said the edition they have down is now out of print. Can anybody share their words of wisdom on this subj?

I'm not doing psychology (I'm just nosy ) but I would suggest looking on Amazon, they usually are very good for textbooks. If they don't have it, try ABEbooks.com - they often ship from America but are also cheaper than amazon.

Yeah thought of amazon but then what if i pay the £30 and the lecturer decides we don't need it? Damn books! That could be a night out or two im guessin...so you not gonna bother and jus hope the lecturers don't ask us questions! xx

Hello all new Psychology students. In reply to this thread I found what I believe to be the 2005 edition sent to us in our letters, the book also comes with a disc and can be found here I found it after a very long trek on google a couple of days after I got the letter. Its the cheapest I've actually seen it, though I havent bought it yet.

See you all on the 28th September
