I have long blonde hair and whilst it has always been fine, its now going really thin. It looks awful. Any tips. Does diet cause this or stress? Need help.
Stress can cause hair to fall out, and so does a change in diet. Check with your doctor to see if you have low iron levels. He might give you some iron tablets or a multivitamin. However, I think it takes a few months before you can see any positive results. Also, maybe it just looks awful to you, but there's not actually anything wrong with them.
Go to the doctors they will give you blood tests if your hair is really thinning and see if you are deficient in anything, theres all sorts of medical things that can cause hair loss so check those out first. Don't just go indiscriminately taking vit supplements because you think its the answer. af1 I hope you weren't trying to be funny with the gail porter comment. Hairloss really isn't particularly amusing if you have it.

Do you straighten it? Straighteners can do that. My hair isn't thin, but apparently my compulsive straightening is making it thinnER.
you should get it cut...long hair really only tends to look good on people with thicker hair as leng makes it appear a bit thinner. cut it shorter with some good choppy layers and you'll give the illusion that your hair is thick and lustrous
