English exam help - I did Writing to Advise!?

Hi, for my GCSE English I did writing to advise, an article on advising teenagers how to deal with life. But I did no title, just like an essay! :O

What I did was give personal use, I said 'Life's how you make it! Live long and prosper!' in the conclusion, I don't know if that is too informal (or just plain cheesy)!!! grr.
I also used words like 'Trust me' saying 'they are knowledgeable but it is up to you'. I talked about how talking to adults can help you also. Basically, I think I gave too much of an emotional and informal side to it. I used an anecdote of me getting an A from maths from a grade D.

Apparently it is not necessarily stupid to pick writing to advise, but it is very hard to get a good mark :frown:
Im looking to get a B.

What makes a good writing to advise essay?
There is nothing you can do now about whatever you wrote then.

Even though my GCSEs were an age ago, we all got told not to do writing to advise...
