Basil Faultys voice: Dont mention the war. Whatever you do not mention the war...(Argues with German). Basil: You started it! German: No we did not... Basil: Yes you did, you invaded Poland!

The poor Germans, even after all these years, there still tarnished with the Nazi brush.

Other things I think of when I hear Germany:
*Augustus Gloop
*Beer. Huge beers and OKTOBERFEST!
*Berlin and the Berlin Wall
*Albert himself
* My friend Anne, who's half German and half Jewish.
*My ex (and first boyfriend...) who was German, very German.
*The word 'Ja'
*Stephen Fry going 'Wo ist mein handie?!?'
*Frankfurters
*Sweets, lovely lovely sweets
*James Bond Villains
*Blonde People
*Socks and Sandals
*Women who don't shave their armpits (I've never actually seen this though, eventhough I know about 50 German girls)
*Towels! Saving their sunbeds (Ok...so I do it aswell....)
*My Nan...who everyone on holiday, thinks is German
*My old German teacher, (who was from the west...not the east, god never mention the east! who wore the most gorgeous clothes. How she
managed Prada everyday on a teachers salary I'll never know.
* Salami!
*2 World Wars, 1 world cup...
* This girl in my old school: 'My mums gonna take me to see the Berlin wall. Me: How is that even possible? Her: Well duh you can see it from space. Me: You mean the great wall of china? Her: Well, yeah same thing. Me: No not at all. Unless Berlin is suddenly in China. Her: Yeah Berlin is like the capital! Me: Yes of Germany! Her: But chinas nowhere near Germany...oh dear!
