also does anybody else think that there is a huge difference between living in private accomodation like the hub to the lifestyle and atmosphere in actual uni halls? :smile:

I think its pretty similar to be honest :smile:

you aren't the only one in that situation, a lot of people will be in private halls and I found I had a very similar first year than my friends in halls.
They're really close as well so we had people over from halls and vice versa.

You don't miss out on anything at all :smile:

especially as they're the same set up (flats within a buidling).
It might be different if the halls were just lots of rooms but I don't think it matters :smile:
