graduate accommodation oriel island site

does any one know what the quality of the rooms in oriel college's Island site is like. whats the standart. cheers
Well if it's anything like the Ugrad accomodation then it shouldn't be too bad. I have lived over there for all my time at Oriel (just entering 2nd year now) and most of my friends also and the rooms there are really quite nice. The standard is fairly high on the Island site...it's in the process of renovation at the moment and is better overall than the main part of college.

oh really thats kind of you to say. if you think its better than the main block across the road, then ill be happy. do you know if any of the rooms are ensuite.

cool are any of the rooms ensuite do you know. also what kinda catagory do they usually get rated under on the oriel scale (a* being the best)

cheers- whats the general feel of the block ect
Finance issues? I don't know I'm afraid; I think the rent is different for graduates because you are there longer than us so you pay a bit more. In all likelyhood the oriel scale applies. The general feel of the graduate rooms...hmm I don't really know; the vast majority of them seem to be ensuite though if that helps.
