You probably have posted this somewhere before but where do you live? I actually get a pretty decent train connection so it definately could be worse,...
I'm going Saturday, should be there about 2ish. Getting a taxi from home, so depends on the traffic i guess. Such a long journey. Took 3 hours last time to my Dad's (only 10 mins away from uni). Hope it doesn't take that long this time!

i'm in chingford which isn't toooo bad but it's still gna take an hour (maybe 1 1/2 hours) to get there everyday. whatever route i take i need to change trains 3 times! once i can drive it'll be cool though, as i can get there on the motorway. whereabouts are u?

I'm near Richmond. I could actually go by tube but that'd take ages. So I'm hoping Waterloo-Waterloo east isn't that much of a walk. OR I could talk my mum into letting me take the car? But I guess traffic would be horrid so with that kind of train connection it should be easier. Changing 3 times is awful though, like you can't even have a nap on the train or else you'll miss the station. I'll probably need to get a bus to the station (or go by bike or talk my father into driving me on his way to work) but I guess it could really be worse.

Waterloo and Waterloo East are basically the same station, connected by a tunnel, max 2 minutes walk. Driving would be a bad idea. I'd say go to Richmond and jump on a fast train to Waterloo, then get the train to New Cross.

hmm with things like this you've just gotta try out a few different routes til you see which one's the best way of getting there i guess. good luck to us!
