Drinking Games!
just to get you freshers rolling i thought i'd start us a drinking games thread so you all get an excuse to get bladdered and act stupid 
.
i'll start the ball rolling with Ring of Fire! ooo scary...
You need: pack of card, at least 4 shot glasses, stop watch of some kind, measuring jug and a really strong stomach
Rules: spread the card out in a ring and get everyone to sit around it. take it in turns to pull a card then follow the rule for that card.
A = 1 shot
2 = 2 shots
3 = 3 shots
4 = 4 shots
5 = thumb race (last to put their thumb on the floor loses and drinks a shot)
6 = truth
7 = dare
8 = neck a whole drink
9 = no toilet for half an hour
10 = 10 mins of power (1 shot on the minute every minute for 10 minutes)
J = thumb master (person becomes the thumb master until another J is drawn. they can choose when to start a thumb race by putting their thumb on the table or floor. same rule as for thumb race)
Q = change the rules. person can change any one rule for a card
k = feed the world. first 3 people fill a third of the measuring jug with a drink of their choice. then the fourth unlucky person drinks it!
had so many pissed up nights playing this, and that bridge between bateson and harry law saw so many streakers last year cos of this game and us

Fives? Touch Cup? many drunken nights playing drinking games. We usually play ring of fire before we go out. We go alittle far on the change the rules card though, that ended up being quite dangerous.
Best by far though, has to be the Centurion (90 shots of beer, 1 shot of vodka every 10) lmao, that got very messy! All fun though!

ring of fire is a brilliant way it never fails - but ive played a slightly different version to ures!
Centurian always ends up a mess - especially if u have punishments for people missing go's haha

does any body kno of a drinking game where u put cards out in a ring and say if u pick up a 4 every1s gotta say a river and the last person has to down the drink in the middle and some other weird rules, i really cant remember it that well, played it in amsterdam but its an awesome game! any1 kno what it is?

thats an adapted version of the ring of fire. Ive played it where river means, the first person starts drinking then everyone follows suit till the starter stops?
Sounds like you just changed the rules around in ring of fire, everyone usually makes up there own values for each card

you cant beat the combination of gentleman's drinking rules and ring of fire.
Pub golf was another good one tho, each drink has a par (number of swigs it takes to drink) e.g pint of stella is about 3. There are 18 holes (pubs) and 18 different drinks (you have to plan it out abit first!). A complete variety of drinks is required, e.g cider,bitter,larger,shots,spirits etc. You need to write down how many swigs people take at each hole, and the person with the lowest score at the end of the night wins. If you really cant stand the drink, you can pay to change it, usually a pound, but the chosen drink must not be the same as any other drink on the list that night. The winner wins all money paid for changing drinks and ofcourse the honour! Golf attire is optional, but definately adds a few laughs!

Oh i love drinking games...but the ones i know are so simple compared to some on here....they have to be so that i can remember them when im drunk..!

21s...go round clockwise counting up to 21 but can only say either 1 2 or 3 numbers....the person that lands on 21 has to down their drinks..!

The more famous people you know the less drunk you get tho!! go round clockwise saying famous people whose first name starts with the same letter as the last persons surname...but if someone says a famous person that has the same lertter first name and surname then it goes anitclockwise...and so on! and you drink while you think of the famous person!

so someone says a number and simultaneously everyone can either remove their fingers or leave it on. get it right and your out. last person in drinks as many fingers as the games master says.

trigger word. games master decides on a trigger word for the night, if anyone says the trigger word, gamesmaster decides the forfeit (repeat offenders taken into consideration etc)
