Regarding UAS interview

I would really appreciate it if somebody could tell me how the UAS interview differs from the interview at officer selection. Is it less in-depth or practically the same?

I would say it is identical. I had the fortune of going and doing a 'mock' interview, at UBAS, a week before OASC and I can tell you it was invaluable.

It is not identical.

You will be asked much the same questions, but you will be interviewed by two UAS Officers. You are marked on your interview, but it is not simply a pass/fail. A UAS will take every element of the selection and then gauge your motivation to join and what return you will give the UAS. That is to say that you can still get into a UAS without passing the interview, or even without passing the aptitude. Look at the FAQ and you will find a list of questions that you will be asked. As well as this you may be asked questions pertinent to the UAS such as what aircraft they fly, what their motto is, why you wish to join the UAS, etc.
