Why is Durham so far away ?

Speaking of funny rules, I was browsing through my Trevs college handbook and came across the following sentence..

'Any student found picking the daffodils shall be hung, drawn and quartered at dawn on Palace Green.'

Erm, I seriously wouldn't lol! It may be a "jokey" rule but the porters and college staff would NOT be happy to see you picking them. Apparantly, they did a study a year or so ago to see what in the photo of Trevs in the prospectus had attracted applicants, and a large percentage of them had said the daffodils. Weird, but true!

So keep off them! :mad:

It'd be fairly difficult picking daffodils in October. Unless Trevs' daffodils are actually fake and made of plastic. Have I stumbled upon some kind of cover-up?
