Opinions on Camberwell.

Hi, I was just interested in finding out how people view the Camberwell college, is it a good place to study? I was looking into doing my foundation art and design here and would be interested in the views of anyone who took foundation here or any courses.

P for Photographer

I was going to do a coure at Camberwell, I first wanted to do their FS, then in the end I applied to their degree in photography. I liked it at the time, that why I put the application through. However, I now think it's a really funny college, esp. the photography department and dun like it anymore. Me and my friend both applied to their photography degree, and my friend went to the interview, and it was a really horrible experience for her. We are two of the best photographers at our college and her work is full of concepts and ideas and stuff, when she went to the interview, the teachers just put her off completely and told her that she shounld'd have any ideas behind her work or sth like this, anyway, they were very nasty to her. And for me, I was invited to the interview, but I didn't go coz I got a place at LCC already. They kept looking for me and said if I dun get back to them within the next few days, they have to cancel my application, and I thought it was fine, coz I didn't wanna go their anymore anyway. And then 2 days later, UCAS sent me an offer from Camberwell, they offered me a place onto their degree without me showing in thier interview... and the condition was a successful completion on current course and a portfolio only, so it was pretty much unconditional...

I just think they were really funny...
