Shaving sideburns

My hairdresser shaves my sideburn so that it kinda fades away gradually, and I don't think I can do it the same way he does - so how do you guys do it? Do you just use a razor to do it? Are there any special techniques?

I assume you mean thickness? you can use one of those long straight hairbrushes (dont remember what they are called, the one used by old timers) to raise the sideburn hair and then chop it off.

why dont you use a trimmer. im no expert cos i do the "craig david style" back in the days when he used to have lines.

but yea a trimmer with different settings or take off the gaurd and use a comb. i would think its easier when someone else does it though.
