Triangle, Parklane Reviews?

Hey has anyone that stayed at or heard something of the Triangle that can offer a quick review? Parklane has istorically screwed over almost every student it gets its claws on, but those are usually for some crummy houses. Triangle photos seems to look professional on the website, but do they screw around with repair costs/deposit problems/hidden fees etc? How's the internet there, slow? do they block ports/torrents? Are the admin staff there helpful or is it hard to report problems/get mail packages off them?

Seems to be a review of every other private student hall (opal/unite etc) except this one...

I did some canvassing in them, some had beat in doors and inside stuff what I could spot from the door. Its like private but not like living in halls... everyone keeps to there room older more matures. It did look new but very grotty. But it is more like a home you can customize a little, seemed more spacious hallway and each was mildly unique.

Still avoid Parklane at all costs will screw you up there with bills etc, I believe a lot of them are not inclusive and rake up nasty bills.

Triangle seems different. Looks fine unless someone says they mess ppl about with deposit at Triangle...

So has anyone stayed here. Is it a good place. I can't find any information on it except for their web site and it looks very nice. But that doesn't tell me much :frown:

Stay away from Parklane Triangle!
- the laundry room is unusable, the washing machines are all out of place.
- the communal area and kitchen is absolute mess, the floor is sticky and dirty.
- bedroom room is dark, old, and with moldy smells; the toilet was filthy and totally clogged when I first checked in (although the toilet is being cleaned but I was definitely abhorred by the condition of it when I first looked at it); the heater is old and releases burnt smell when I turn it on.
- on the outer area: the lift and corridors are absolutely old and dingy. The whole floor smells.
Do not believe the website. They do not meet the standards they have declared they are. The living condition of this property is utterly disappointing.

I stayed at the Triangle last year and renewing my contract for next year. Most issues raised above seem to have been sorted, I can't say I had any of these issues this year. Location is spot on, 5 minute walk to uni and the value is really good compared to some accommodation I've seen in Leeds 🤢 Would 100% recommend if you're looking for decent priced accommodation and still be close to the city/uni.
