how many characters does ucas let the ps?

Hi i cant seem to remember how many characters ucas allows for the ps on the electronic insertion method?

but you can have less than 4000 characters and still be over the limit, if its more than 47 lines long. Mine is 47 lines but only 3600 ish characters. Very annoying!
