anyone working in a bank?

eerm...im from hong kong, i 've been living in england for 2 years
and just finished my A level, got AAC in maths , business studies and geography

now im taking a gap year, and looking for a job...
i wanna get a job in a bank....

can anyone give me some ideas?
how is it like when working in a bank?
my english is not very good, would that be a problem???
i dont work in a bank, but my dad does. my dad does enjoy working in the bank, but he says it does get boring sometimes. i would think that perhaps the first thing you need to do is get your english up to scratch because banks rely on reputation and image for attracting customers and you would need to have good english for that.
i would say bank work is pretty mediocre but pays well

i temped for a couple of weeks at Abbey this summer as a cashier. It was a bit boring sometimes - probably because it was in a quiet branch. But I did enjoy it most of the time. I don't think I would do it as a career but it was good work experience and is a fairly responsible job so looks good on a CV.

well i got the job cos my mum works there and they needed someone to cover holidays. i don't really know about pay cos i was employed through an agency but i got £6 an hour from them. i worked full time almost every day for about 3 weeks. you would need reasonable english skills because you would need to obviously understand what customers are asking you, and all the computer systems are in english.
