May I ask where you got these from?

They seem realistic but still :p:

Thanks either way.

Looks like i may try Queen's..

Nah.. but how cambridge has 3 less applicants for places than oxford i'll never know. Good luck if your applying to bristol
where did you get these....

I can't really believe the SGUL one...cos they interview everyone....even if say a few didn't meet the requirements, there is no way they would reject 1000...

Cambridge has almost twice as many places for pre-clinical medicine as Oxford does. Simples!

Southampton has that many applicants? Damn it. Now I might have to go for St. George's.
I think the Soton info is wrong, but I need to dig out my source before I can give you any numbers.

That's where every applicant who can't handle a proper interview applies.

I hope these stats don't change where people initially wanted to apply. Interesting as they may be, they shouldn't dictate your uni choices for you.

Yeah I forgot about that, I guess that explains the high figures. Though they were also AAB last year too. But I have to balance the no interview option against the crazily hard and completely random interview option in SGUL.

Or lucky classmates who have a family member on the admissions board

Did they not introduce an interview now (2011 appllicant)...as they already did for the foundation/grad...

or was this just a baseless rumour???
I want to know why so many people want to do medicine...
Atleast on here they do.
Scottish ones look acceptable. Does absolutely nobody want to study at Queens?
I don't like the Bristol stats, but I still want to go there!!!

You answered your own question. This is a widely known and well used resource for medical applicants.

BSMS is always so popular for some reason.
Holy ****, Bristol...

Renal's referriing to the different style of "interview" they hold.

To people that were asking, this is where I got it from...

I don't know how accurate it is as the table sometimes contradicts what it says when you click on the university, so I just took the most reasonable one. :o:
