I'd just like to clear up a few wives tale about getting pregnant.

there is the old one that i am sure loads of people know (assuming you watched the little britain episode where vicky pollard is pregnant) it is if you shares someone elses bath water you can get pregnant... although i suppose it would actually be feesible, but then again i am not sure at which the little swimmers are denatured? anyone got any views on this?

The pulling out one does work sometimes, there's people who use it, it's just so risky though.. it is better than finishing without pulling out though. Although I personally wouldn't use just the pulling out one by itself as the chances of conceiving are too high.
It might work sometimes, just as much as if you cum inside her and walk away. Its a guessing game or not if she is now pregnant. The best advice is not to do that novice tale at all
The period one is true, but even more specific is having sex on a particular day when the girl is on (I think the 4th day). Although the chances reduce greatly, pregnancy is still very much possible.
The best advice is to to never ever listen to advice such as, 'we might get away with this as the chances are reduced'. You know you will be that singular person who gets caught out.
