Salford is not that easy to get into, the average entry point score (old system) is 19 points which is almost AA. My mate applied there and got rejected he was predicted CB in his AVCE. The course needed 220 points (new system) so that wasn't enough.

I did however get an over to study computer science at Salford even when I didn't have A level maths but they said my personal statement was good enough so made me an offer. I got an AB in my AVCE and a B in AS Business Studies, I am not at Salford doing multimedia and internet technology.
