Btw, I was admitted to the Queens' College yesterday (It took about 3 weeks to receive the decision - I didn't nominate any college.). All offer conditions are satisfied now and I'm waiting for the confirmation of admission.

No, when Penny said "the next few days", I did hope that the results would be known within this week. But now we have to wait until next week

My status is that I have been offered a place there..Moreover, I have seen my conditions (I have 5 of them!!), but I think that all of them are something technical.. I m sure that your conditions will be like that too

I'm doing some research into the MPhil Finance course at Cambridge, but I'm having trouble understanding how competitive it is.

If I achieved first class marks in every exam in my 1st and 2nd years studying BSc Maths and Economics at LSE and interned at RBS in trading in my 2nd year, then would you say I have a very strong chance of getting in, strong chance or just an average chance? I know it depends on your personal statement, references and GMAT/GRE scores as well, but let's assume they're all up to standard.

I haven't applied yet (will do next year) but if you don't get in with that then I'm genuinely screwed. That's a very strong application. I'm guessing you haven't actually got that yet?
