If you used Clearing in 2024, how did you find it?

driving me crazy

well i was out at this party last night. And i met another girl who i'd met 2 days ago and she introduced me to her flat mates and i got dancing wih one of 'em. i'd had a couple of drinks and wasnt drunk. I danced with her before we found oursleves in a quiet corner on the dance floor. We started kissing then and it went on and on for like 1/2 hr. She was soooo lovely. Then i asked her if she wants to like sit down and said yeah. so we found another place and there was just a single couch and i sat and made her sit on my lap. We started talking and i found out that she's wonderful and she has such a sexy laugh. Then we kissed again and again. And then she asked me back to her room on one condition that i leave when she asks me too. We went back to her place and had such an awesome time. We had a romantic time but both of us knew that we didnt want to take it too fast. And then me and my big fat mouth....i asked her out!!!!!!!!!!!!! And she said that she'll think abt it and all that and she wont have time for me. I said 5 mins a day...we'll always work something out. And i knew that she liked me a lot too...i could see it in her eyes. She said she'll think about it and she said yeah we'll try and do something abt it. She said she doesnt wanna hurt me and i said how wud u know what we cud have been if u dont even wanna give us a try. And she said she'll think abt it. Then we made out for some more time. It was 2 am and her flatmates came back. And then she said that i should get going and i said ok and got her number. Then i left and her flatmates were giggling all over when they saw me coming outta her flat. Then i went back to my flat. Slept off and woke up and i just couldnt stop thinking of her. It was agony. She was away at a meet so couldnt contact her. Then at around 5 pm i called and she picked up and said she came back early. She said she was sick and i said oh no i'll come by and see u. And she said no its ook...i dont think we should see each other. I WAS STUNNED!!!! Didnt know what to say...i was like pls can i come over and we'll talk abt it. Gimme one chance to talk abt us. She said she's made up her mind and she aint changing it no matter what. And then she said so...we'll be friends ( really sucks when thats said!!!! ). I was so stunned that i felt like a bloody fool. I mean c'mon!!!!!!!! I wasnt the one who initiated all this. Feel like ****! So she says...so i'll see ya prob later sometime. I said ok. And she said all the best for ur course....(it was like ok ...dont ever wanna talk to u again!). She said she was drunk last night but i bloody know she was in her senses!!!! And then i put the fone down saying yeah take care. Bbye. And it was as if the sledgehammer had fallen on me. I might bump in to her tomo....any ideas on what i shud do??? I just cant stop thinking abt her. :bawling:

I would agree with Sahsum...... Ignore her for few days or forever ....and if you see her while passing by in the campus or wherever ...just say Hi but nothing else then she might think that you have moved on..cause if the girl find out that you have fallen in love with her, she will play an emotinal game and you will end up hurt and she will be laughing at the other end...... or maybe she might have been dumped by someone over a night and she wants to do it on you..like a revenge.. don't know !!!!

i was just on my way back to the flat from a lecture in the morning. Decided to stop over at the stationary shop to buy a refill pad. And guess who's there at the cash counter when i enter... :rolleyes:

She looks at me...and looks down as if she doesnt want me to recognise her. Then i look at her and we then smile. I said hi, how r u doin...hows lectures comin along. And she said yeah pretty ok. Then she says alright i'll c ya around. i said ok and went inside. Thats it. i mean she aint deadly gorgeous but there's something abt her that maked me want her soooo bad! But i'm following ur advice guys...not going to bother for a few days. Lets c wat happens.

Do NOT buy her flowers. Maybe she's like me, I like playing wee games with people. Not good, but it's the way some girls are. I think you came on too strong with her and scared her off. You asked her out the night you met her? I saw my bf for a month before we started going out. You don't ask someone out the night you meet them..well obviously you do, but the rest of the world doesn't.

You asked someone out on the basis of one drunken night? Maybe it's slightly different, but if a girl did that to me i'd run a mile. Take it easy, you should have just taken her number, not outstayed your welcome (ie left before her mates got back) and told her you'd call sometime, left it a week then sent a casual message. You came on far too strong basically, gotta play it cool now if you want any chance.

Yeah some guy did that to me after one night, n he text me sayin stuff like 'i really want to be with u' and it really scared me!!

Oh well. Ummmm, I think you should leave her alone for a while so she can have the chance to think about it or something. Just give her some time, I guess. And if she doesn't call you or you don't see her, you can call her again at the end of the week asking if she wants to go for coffee and just chat a bit. Don't be pushy though or you might scare her off even more! Good luck.

you are exactly like me. just the male version! i come on too strong and lose guys. i dont seem to learn either. well saying that, i havent had a guy interested in me since the last guy i was kinda seeing. i did learn alot from him actually so i need another guy now to see if i can put my experiences into action i guess.

but i know exactly how u feel. trust me. it kills. and i know what u mean about u can have the best night and the worst night of your life all in one night. its awful. id really like u if u did all that to me though. we're all different.

Yes, don't ever call her. Then she'll just have to call you eventually, out of curiosity if nothing else.
