I am following the OCR CHemistry A syllabus. I got 237/300 for AS which was a grade B. I needed 240 for an A. I got a B in my coursework and was wondering if i could resit my coursework to get 3 more ums to get an A.

Simple answer, yes. You'll need to talk to your teacher and convince them to let you, and you may need time out of lessons to do the corsework. However if your corsework already has a hight %age they may say your not allowed as your not likley to gain an advantage from it.

You can resit the coursework, but you will need to do all 3 parts again.

If you aren't carrying on to A2 level and want an A at AS, it would be pretty easy to resit the coursework, get an A, then get an A overall.

If you're carrying on to A2, then you may not need to. Just work on getting an A on the next units.
